The logistics base is a large-scale warehouse and distribution facility where constant movement of goods, operational machinery noise and daily staff activity created significant reverberation. In such large spaces, sound travels far from its source, and reflections from ceilings and walls result in an uncomfortable acoustic environment that hinders effective communication and overall acoustic comfort.

To address this challenge, JustFiber acoustic panels made from polyester fiber were selected and installed, taking into account the space’s large surface area, architectural style, required sound absorption and reverberation reduction needs. These panels offer excellent technical performance at a cost-effective price, making them particularly suitable for large-volume environments where extensive acoustic coverage is necessary.

The white, hexagon-shaped panels were suspended from the ceiling to create a kind of false ceiling that absorbs and attenuates sound reflections and noise from machinery and storage activities. With a semi-rigid 40 mm thickness, the panels effectively absorb sound frequencies, reducing reverberation time and significantly improving the acoustic environment of the space.

This solution not only reduced reverberation in the logistics base but also provided a visually striking aesthetic by covering the entire nave of the warehouse, demonstrating how acoustic solutions can be successfully applied to large industrial facilities.
